The Room

No, not the Wiseau masterpiece. I think I had Fireproof Games's The Room on my iPad ages ago, as it was one of the "proof the iPad is a good gaming device" games back in the day. I came back to it on PC after beating Boxes: Lost Fragement last night and it was a good move to see the differences.

I found The Room a much more complex but shorter experience, rounding out at 6.3 hours to complete. There was less reliance on classic logic and more on complexity of environment than Boxes, but it's not fair to compare games so far apart in age. I'll say this: I've found myself strangely addicted to these puzzlers, and I've added the rest of the games in The Room franchise to the to-play list.
