True horror. Alvarez understood the assignment and nailed it. There were a handful of on-the-nose callbacks that could have been edited out without losing any of the “Alien-ness”, but the entire package is a perfect dovetail to Aliens.
My only fear is that whatever follows Romulus will be another Alien 3 fiasco.
