Maybe the third or fourth time watching this classic. Still hits hard, and I prefer Lee Van Cleef's performance to Eastwood’s.
I was reminded of an album I’d picked up in a used CD place in Japan back in ‘01 or ‘02: Depth Charge’s Nine Deadly Venoms, due to the heavy sampling from this and other Westerns for their track Bounty Killers. That record still holds up, too.
