Shingo Irie’s Orb: On the Movements of the Earth is a layered, complex exploration of the friction between critical thought and faith. It challenged many of my notions. The twenty-five, twenty-minute episodes went down smooth. As a grown man, I don’t go in much for cartoons, and I think this story would’ve worked much better for me as a novel. And that’s all the time I have for this.
