The pacing, cinematography, and plot are all 100% on point in Jaume Collet-Serra’s Carry-On. My only issue with this film was that Taron Egerton, while an exceptional actor, was miscast as the protagonist. It would have been better to hire a less physically imposing actor. This would have sold the character arc harder and made it more convincing. Not a deal-breaker, just a reminder that there’s always room for improvement.
