Fallen Angels

I enjoyed Mike Lee’s prose, and rate him highly among the authors I’ve encountered so far. This book is by no means a standalone title. It’s a direct continuance of the events in Mitchel Scanlon’s Descent of Angels (I’m now realizing how the titles are basically the same) and it’s commensurately rewarding if you’ve read the previous novels. As I’ve written before, the more I invest in the Horus Heresy the more rewarding it becomes. Though I will admit to having a harder and harder time of keeping track of everything, perhaps that’s all part of the fun of getting involved in an epic like this.
